These terms cover Maps, Traffic and Driving Directions at mapsdirections-driving.com. By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement is recognized under applicable law. We provide general geographic information, a driving route planner and independent mapping guides. The service does not create a professional advisory relationship, provide emergency assistance, or act as an official MapQuest service. No account or paid subscription is currently required.

Permitted and prohibited use

You may browse the guides and use the tools for lawful trip preparation. Do not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute harmful code, evade access restrictions, or generate automated requests that overload the website or its providers. Do not use the tools to harass others or collect private location information without authority.

You remain responsible for the information you enter and for deciding whether a route is appropriate for your vehicle and circumstances. Follow current road signs and legal restrictions. Avoid operating the website while driving. Access may be limited when necessary to address abuse, protect the service or comply with law.

Content and third-party rights

The contact form opens your email application with a draft. It does not deliver a message until you send it from that application. Supply accurate contact information if you want a reply, and only share material you are entitled to send. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive details.

By sending a correction or question, you allow us to review the message and use the information as reasonably needed to respond, investigate or correct the website. This does not transfer ownership of your unrelated copyrighted work. We do not guarantee a response time or that every suggested change will be adopted.
